At age fourteen, and standing at 5ft 11", Lorraine Weselby, through necessity, began designing her own clothes. She found that most manufacturers did not cater for taller girls, and in looking for something,"a little bit different but with sleeves and leg lengths that were not six inches too short!", Lorraine employed her own initiative and vision.

Now, with over 26 years experience in the fashion design industry, Lorraine is very clear about how she would like us to look;

"....as smart as the Italians and as chic as the French!"

Lorraine's clients come from all walks of life and range from as far afield as the United States. She has designed and styled wedding gowns, evening wear, menswear, airport uniforms, basketball team sportswear and business suits, as well as corporate looks for perfumery companies and restaurants.

In 1989 Lorraine represented Edinburgh in the Business Woman of the Year competition and her experience and flair have led to guest appearances on television and radio, showing her designs and talking about fashion. Lorraine has, over the years, built a reputation for being both honest and tactful in her professional appraisals.
